Our proud family has been operating Luciano's Italian Restaurant since 1987. The heart and soul of this fabulous and delicious restaurant are Luciano and his wife Rosa. Their children are instrumental in the daily operations of the business and on occasion you might see one of the growing grandchildren stepping in to help out.  Salvatore handles all the secret sauces and desserts while Lori and Sabrina manage bookings and special events. You are sure to see one of us during your visit.  We take great pride in our food and service and want to thank all our loyal customers for their continued patronage.

LUCIANO’S HISTORY

Luciano's Italian Restaurant opened the first location between 22 and 23 mile on Van Dyke in Shelby township. During the first year of business we actually served breakfast. Many of our long time customers began dining at our first location, and dine regularly with us still today. After two years of business, we were blessed with the waiting lines outside the doors, so in 1990 we closed our location on Van Dyke and opened our larger and current location at 17 mile on Garfield.

 OUR FAMILY

Servicing in World War II for Sicily, "Salvatore" Luciano's father wanted a change. He wanted better opportunities and a better life for their family. So in 1963 Luciano's Parents "Salvatore & Rosa, Luciano, his brother, and two sisters, boarded a boat on their way to a new life in America. The reason the Gianino family moved to Michigan was because Luciano's uncle "Orazio" was currently working and living in Michigan. He was the only relative that resided in America.
